First Ward Neighborhood
First Ward Park The first community design workshop was held in September. The next meeting will be held Wednesday October 8th at 6pm at 301 E 9th Street. This is the neighborhood's chance to shape the future 4 acre park. For more details and minutes from the September Meeting click here. Hands On Charlotte We need volunteers for the First Ward 9th Street Linear Park project. We will be replanting the entire Linear Park from Trinity Episcopal School down to Caldwell St. All the supplies and tools will be provided all we need is volunteer labor from 9am -1pm on Saturday October 18th. To Sign Up and Volunteer click here. Center City Parks Master Plan The 2nd Meeting on the Master Plan will be held at Trinity Episcopal School at 6pm on October 21st. The planners will have some concepts based on the input from the previous meeting they will be soliciting feedback on. |
